GlowStory is a rechargeable Christmas memory ornament that plays your own photos and videos. It is available in White or Black and charges through a USB-C connection on the back. Here is how to prepare a personal keepsake before it goes on the tree.

1. Choose a memory they will recognize

Start with a favorite family photo or a short video that already means something: the grandkids saying hello, a much-loved pet, a wedding moment or an ordinary afternoon together. Keep the original files backed up on your own device.

2. Follow the ornament's phone-app setup instructions

GlowStory uses a phone app to load photos and videos. Follow the setup instructions supplied with your ornament for the correct app and transfer steps. The USB-C connection is for charging; do not assume that charging alone transfers your files.

3. Charge it and check playback

Use the supplied charging and operating instructions. Turn the ornament on and watch the memory you loaded before wrapping it. Check that you chose the intended photos or video and that the result looks right on the ornament itself.
